My backyard once used to be where I spent all my spare time. From playing soccer to those humid summer days running around in the sprinklers. Surprisingly although its merely just ten feet away from my bedroom I have ignored it for quite some time. The weeds have taken over and continually grow. The pure beauty that it once had with all the fresh cut grass and multitude of flowers lost. I took a moment to explore like I once did as a child. I began to notice a whole new perspective of not only my backyard but nature itself. The abundance of hidden objects and textures that nature embodies. The sound of a bird making her nest, the soft fall of an autumn leaf, a gentle drop of rain all take place in my backyard. Those small but significant events that occur everyday have been immensely overlooked and forgotten.
